The formulation allows for the same muscle-relaxing effects as Botox and Jeuveau but with fewer additives, which may be beneficial for patients prone to sensitivities. Kybella®

Kybella is a prescription medicine used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.” It contains synthetic deoxycholic acid, a substance that naturally occurs in the body to help break down and absorb dietary fat. When injected into the submental area, Kybella targets and destroys fat cells, which are then naturally processed and eliminated by the body.

It is not known if Kybella is safe and effective for the treatment of fat outside of the submental area or in children under 18 years of age. Adult patients may need multiple syringes. Consultations are free and recommended.

What to Expect From Your Visit

A consultation always comes first so we can talk about your goals and find the right injectables. Sometimes, this consultation can happen on the same day as your treatment. When we are ready to administer injections, the skin is cleansed, and a topical numbing agent may be applied for comfort. Injections are placed strategically based on your facial structure, underlying muscles, wrinkle locations, and more. Most treatments take around 15 to 30 minutes. You can return to usual activities the same day, although you may experience more swelling with Kybella injections.

Can Injectables Be Reversed?

Radiesse and Kybella cannot be reversed but will gradually be absorbed by the body.
